Chapter 01
1999
The founding.
Hungama began as a digital entertainment company in India at the start of the internet decade. The bet was simple: India would consume digital media at scale, in its own languages, on its own platforms. Two decades on, that bet is the foundation everything else stands on.
Chapter 02
The platform years
Music, video, the editorial brand.
Hungama Music, Hungama Play and Artist Aloud built the consumer surface. Bollywood Hungama emerged as the parallel editorial media brand and grew into India's leading film and entertainment editorial brand. The catalogue grew. The audience scaled. The relationships with telecom, OTT, DTH and global music distribution platforms became the moat.

The Depth
Two hundred million users.
A hundred countries.
By the middle of the 2020s, Hungama was operating at scale across two hundred million users, more than a hundred countries, seventeen Indian and South Asian languages, two hundred and sixty plus telecom and OTT partners, a thousand plus studio, label and creator relationships, and close to two hundred awards. The depth became defensible. The brand became trusted.

2026
The rebuild.
The technology of storytelling changed in twenty four months in a way it had not changed in the previous fifty. Hungama rebuilt itself AI native, from the inside out. Four AI native production engines. A patent in our own name for CineIQ™. A partnership tier of Apple, Google, Meta and NVIDIA. Architecture, not announcement.

The next decade
Imagine ∞
The next chapter is being written now. The catalogue we have built will not be how we are measured. We will be measured by the worlds we open up for the next billion storytellers, gamers, creators and audiences. Some of them will be South Asian. Many will not. All of them will meet Hungama at the point where stories meet machines, and creators meet markets.
