12:00 - It was another one of those days, when every Hungamaite was thinking “Damn these working Saturdays!” while pretending to work. Keyboards were busy, eyelids were drooping and minds were wandering, when suddenly, a message popped up on every screen: ‘HAI KYA?”
12:30 – People sat up. A buzz went through the teams- “What was that message about? Kya hai yeh…” when suddenly the HR alarm rang. “Please gather in the old office for an important announcement.” They gathered; some were irritated, some were curious and some were just plain bored.
12:45 – There was no announcement. People were getting restless. Someone thought it was a practical joke and started moving away when all of a sudden, some Hungamaites began drumming their desks. Startled looks were exchanged. “Kya ho raha hai ab? Kya pagaalpan hai? What’s going on?” The beats fused into a catchy song, “Sur Taal Nach Mein Dhamaal, Hai Kya?” and people started singing. Hungamaites were back to doing what they did best – creating Hungama!
When people got back to their desks, there was an email waiting for them. Finally, the mystery was solved – Hungama’s latest committee focusing on music, dance and drama had launched!
